What affects the price

How much does a Self Assessment return cost?

The cost of a tax return depends on how many income sources you have and how complex they are. Our fixed fees are based on typical situations: Standard covers employment and self-employed income, Landlord adds UK rental property, Director and investor covers dividends and capital gains, and Complex covers high earners, partnerships and foreign income.

All prices exclude VAT at 20%. Late returns are priced per tax year. If your circumstances are unusual we will confirm the exact fixed fee before you pay anything. Typical accountant fees for Self Assessment in the UK vary widely, so our fixed pricing keeps costs predictable.

Our fixed fees start at £199 + VAT for a standard return, £249 + VAT for landlords, £299 + VAT for directors and investors, and from £399 + VAT for complex returns.

Is VAT included?

Prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT at 20% is added at checkout.

Do you charge extra for expenses?

No. Claiming expenses and reliefs is included in your fixed fee.
